Hello! My name is Ryan Krieger. I'm a professional musician and instructor with over 14 years of experience teaching drum set, along with over 29 years of experience as a successful live and studio drummer. I studied under the great drummers Karl Latham on the east coast and Gregg Bissonette on the west coast. I've been very fortunate to travel and work as a musician in places such as USA, Europe, Japan, and Canada.
I am currently the drummer with Legends in Concert at the Tropicana, and one of the Blue Man Group drummers at the Luxor on the Las Vegas Strip.
I've taught private lessons, master classes, rock camps, workshops, and school assemblies to both children and adults. I strive to create a positive and fun working environment to help students develop the skills they need for a rewarding life in music.
In our lessons, we'll explore all of the fundamentals of drumming and how to apply them for a positive learning and playing experience. Each student learns differently at their own pace, and its my job and opportunity to help students learn and grow in a positive productive environment. By taking drum lessons, you can learn to play to your favorite songs, play along with a group of friends, play with a band, and speak the exciting language of rhythm. iPad apps are rapidly changing the landscape of how we learn things and I have many great apps to show students and parents how to enhance the experience!
Not only will these drum lessons work on a drumset, They are extremely beneficial and will accelerate existing school band programs, all the way to creating music strictly on a laptop or tablet (programming beats) Students will be exposed to many different styles of music and drumming and will be tailored to your individual needs.
